FTP connection fails

If your FTP connection fails check your settings.

  • Make sure you use FTP not sFTP
  • Please use port: 21
  • Don't use an IP or Hostname to connect use ftp.YourDomain.com

 

Cpanel is no longer recommending to use FTP to upload files. It is recommended to use the File Manager at www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
